Excerpt of The Black War Chapter 25: The Sealing Memorium

Jen finally arose and walked up silently to the memorium, she place her hand upon it. She was dressed in the Tesian Ritual Clothing only instead she wore a black Dress under the Red Cloth around her waist and the Green vest and blue gloves. These symbolized All the elements and the mourning. The sun was slowly setting in the background and the leaves were falling. Jen bowed her head and spoke the crowd all dressed in black behind her. "The sun sets today, giving an end to this day and promising to rise again tomorrow. Many brave souls will not see that sun set, never will they see that sun rise. This memorium symbolizes and represents all those souls that gave themselves up for Freedom, Justice, and Equality. They had no anger in their hearts towards others and that is why they fought." She turned to the crowd with tears in her eyes, a heaviness setting into her heart. "Dear Friends, and family here. I am now dedicating this memorium to them. The Tesian Star on the left and right symbolizes their sacrifice. The Leading Star on top points north, and the gold lining symbolizes it's Importance. and on the front and back is inscribed all the names of those that did this great sacrifice" She touched some of the names and knelt down to the last name, a name that belonged to one known to all. A hero of sorts, but not held as such, a simple person. Jen stood up and poured water over the memorium sealing the dedication. Everyone began to walk away and Jen looked back to that last name.
